Marek Pelán is a founding partner and a driving force behind the law firm Průchová & Pelán. He has been practising law since 2014 and from the very beginning has focused on providing practical and effective legal advice, with a strong emphasis on the real needs of clients. He graduated from the Faculty of Law at Charles University in Prague.

In his legal practice, he focuses primarily on real estate law, commercial law, compliance, and currently also on matters relating to the NIS2 Directive and cybersecurity. In addition to these core areas, he is actively involved in negotiations, the writing of professional articles, and the support of the firm’s marketing activities.

Marek consistently combines legal expertise with a strong business-oriented approach, helping clients navigate legal matters in a way that is clear, practical, and aligned with their actual objectives. Clients particularly value his open communication style, reliability, and ability to deliver clear and creative solutions even in complex situations.

To date, he has been involved in real estate transfers with a total value exceeding CZK 2 billion and has completed more than 300 real estate transactions. He was also part of the legal team advising on the sale of a Czech company to a foreign investor in the United States.

Beyond his legal practice, Marek takes an active interest in the impact of artificial intelligence on both the legal profession and society as a whole. He closely follows geopolitics and public affairs and is particularly interested in how new technologies and global developments shape business and the legal framework — an area he sees as defining the future of the legal profession. He believes that modern legal practice should be not only technically excellent, but also bold and visionary.

He is also an enthusiastic fan of the TV series The Office.
